The recently wrapped seventh season of Game of Thrones proved every bit worth the hype. We were especially impressed with the costume design, which got us thinking – if we were creating a #GOT cosplay, what character would we want to be?

Recreating the ornate looks of the Westerosi won’t be easy. As many cosplayers know, you may find fabric in the right color, but the wrong design. If you do manage to find the perfect fabric, it can cost a lot per yard.

That’s where custom fabrics can save your cosplay (and your wallet). WeaveUp allows you to upload your own artwork and have it printed on 21 different fabrics. You can also change the colors of the designs in our library. Whether you’re looking for traditional or modern, you can find it in our collection of 23,000+ designs.

Read on to see some of our favorite looks from the series and which custom fabric we would use to create the perfect cosplay!

We were lucky enough to enlist the help of our Design Assistant’s daughter, Julia, to recreate some of the most epic costumes of the series. Julia is studying Interactive Design and Game Development at Savannah College of Art and Design.

SPOILER ALERT: We’re going over some of the show’s high points, so if you’re not up to date on the series, better turn back.

Cersei Lannister

Season 6 Episode 10: The Winds of Winter

Cersei Lannister Cosplay

Cersei gets rid of her High Sparrow problem in one fell swoop wearing this formidable dress. She approaches the task with a war-like attitude, so it’s no surprise her dress feels armored and steely.

Looking to recreate the Cersei-burns-down-the-Great-Sept as a cosplay? We suggest a two-color textural design printed on Plain Weave fabric. Here are some of our favorite prints for this look:

Daenerys Targaryen

Season 5

Daenerys Targaryen Cosplay

After establishing herself as Queen of Meereen, Daenerys spends a lot of time in this neutral column gown. The subtle scale texture found on the bodice works in a reference to another one of Dany’s many titles: Mother of Dragons.

If you’re in the market for a Queen of Meereen gown, we recommend a scale-like print on Velvet or Mini Herringbone fabric. Here are some of our favorite designs for this look:

Oberyn Martell

Season 4Oberyn Martell Cosplay

Before meeting his unpleasant, untimely end, Oberyn Martell channels the sun-drenched land of Dorne in this gold robe.

We don’t recommend walking in Oberyn’s footsteps, but if you must, go with a marigold-hued print on our Faux Linen fabric. Here are some custom designs to get you started:

Margaery Tyrell

Season 5, Episode 6: Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

Margaery Tyrell Cosplay

Poor Queen Margaery. Wonder what happened to this gown after the High Sparrow locks her up in the Great Sept? The leafy vine design is reminiscent of the place we’re sure she would rather be – at home in Highgarden.

This look would be best achieved by an subtle organic design on our Plain Weave fabric. Here are some of our favorite designs:

Sansa Stark

Season 3, Episode 8: Second Sons

Sansa Stark Cosplay

One of the many reunions we’re excited about in Season 8: Sansa Stark and her ex-or-maybe-still-actual-husband Tyrion Lannister. At her wedding to Tyrion earlier in the series, Sansa looks stunning, if reluctant, in this golden brocade gown.

To make your own Sansa wedding gown, we recommend using our Sparkle Chenille fabric for added shine. Here are some of our favorite brocade designs for this look:

Joffrey “Baratheon”

Season 2, Episode 1: The North Remembers

Joffrey Baratheon Cosplay

Last and most certainly least: Joffrey. He celebrates his rule as King in this blood-red robe at his nameday celebrations. Appropriately enough, since his rule is bloody and brutal.

We don’t know why you would ever want to be Joffrey, but here are some prints that can help you achieve the look:
