On July 20, 1969, man took his first step on the Moon. At 10:56pm EDT, Neil Armstrong placed his foot on the orbital body and uttered those famous words: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Sadly, we can’t all walk on the Moon. But we can all celebrate National Moon Day this July 20th! Join us in honoring our favorite celestial body by sharing your best lunar designs through the end of the month. Crescents, craters, Moon-men – we want to see them all!
All you have to do is upload and publish your designs here. Already have Moon designs on WeaveUp? Leave a comment on this post with the design name and they will be added to the running. Our curation team will choose a selection of designs to be featured on the blog!
Need some stellar inspiration to get started? Here are some of the Moons already in our Design Library:
Get started by uploading your out-of-this-world designs here. We can’t wait to see what you create! And be sure to check back at the end of this month to see if your designs have been featured.
